Hi from TN. So glad to join & support this forum!!!

I am a fairly new DSLR (Kx) owner & have learned SSSOOO much by these forums. I have begun to post some of my photos & welcome ANY comments. Good & Bad..... I've been looking at some of the seasoned users' photos & ...well...I have a long ways to go. I love to learn & will be glad to share any knowledge that I have. Oh yea.....the beautiful lady pictured here is my lovely wife who is letting me test a "new" old lens I read about on this forum...

Welcome, David!

What lens? (I'm using Safari now which doesn't have an EXIF viewer.)

Also, have you played with uploading your personal albums here yet? Your shot is only coming through as a thumbnail.

Ignore the Australians here:

There's something in the water there that makes them use Pentax and makes them great photographers. We don't have this water here in the states.

But seriously, for some crazy reason, there are an unbelievable number of Australians who use Pentax and who are members of this site.

I've always loved Australians, so I think it's really cool.

Also, the next time you post an image, just do this:

1) Upload the image to your personal album. You can create albums based on the lens the images were taken with. (See my albums here.)

2) Open two pentaxforums.com windows via your browser.

3) Create your post in one of those windows.

4) In the other window, find the image in your album by doing this:

---Go to "Manage Account" in the upper right of your window here and scroll down to "Edit Albums." Get to the image, open it full size, right click, and select "Copy Image Address."

5) Go back to your post and type [IMG]...........

Paste that address...............

And type [/IMG] (Notice the slash!!!)

Your image will now appear full size within your post, like this:
