It's Raining in California

Hi all,
My friends call me Gus, I am a new K100d owner and I got the addiction already.
There I said it... and that is the first step to finding some enablers, some with some old used primes for sale I hope 8^)

I spend a lot of time over at DPR in the FTF-STS and now the PTF. Too much time really. My friend Hin Man has recently mention how nice it is over here with you all so I am droppin in to say hey.

A little bit about me:
Well I was born in the wagon of a travelin' show
My Momma use to dance for the money they'd throw...
We were gypsies tramps and thieves

I have two little girls who are the reason I started this hobby. You will see way to many pictures of them soon enough. I used to sing in bands when I was young and purdy, now I just make up songs about them to their chagrin.

I do not know how long these intro's are usually so I will say Hey for now.
Just know I am having a bunch of fun with this Pentax...
Just a note I also have the Fuji F30/S6000 and Sony H2. I like them all very much.

Look forward to spittin' some seeds with you all.

Of course, Gus, as someone else has already said, it never rains in California. That stuff, my friend, is liquid sunshine, designed to make the flowers grow and the birds eventually sing.

By the way, welcome to the forum.

Thanks to all for the welcome....

Well I have been here for a week and like it just fine. It has not rained again since my post so I hope I have not cursed us into another drought.

This forum seems to have it all.... And some friendly folks with some honest critiques... That should be most helpful.

And to leanneqld, I think I am the gus from DPR.... unless of course I have done something bad, then it is definately the other gus...
