New from Brooklyn NY USA

Greetings!

I'm a Pentax SLR shooter since my teen years (quite a while ago). For the past 7 years I've only used a series of fine C*n*n P&S cameras, but my son's recent birthday party and a business trip to South Africa made a dSLR necessary.

I've had my K10D for 3 weeks and I've already got LBA. I should be spending my few spare minutes per week learning post processing (I plan to shoot PEF exclusively), but I am shopping lenses without much regard for practical considerations - including my sorry bank account.

I started off with the K10d body and Tamron 18-250. I've since added the DA21 and FA35.

Many, many questions to follow.

Welcome to the forum. It appears that you have a nice kit going there.
