Greetings from Sydney Australia

Hi all, I'm glad to have discovered that not all that is CANON is good and I'm not alone! I've been a Pentax user since the mid 1980's. Mainly 35mm Astro- Photography. The Pentax WAS and ALWAYS has been light and compact comparedf to it's SLR Brothers and sisters. (Compare Pentax Me or Me Super with Canon AE-1!). You could put the Me at the end of your telescope or 50mm F1.4 and expect great results, and the telescope to remain pointed to your object of observation. Others just unbalanced the scopes and you could find nothing. Once I left my Pentax Me body out without lens and it rained. When I removed the film the water just poured out of the back. I removed the batteries. Let it dry for a couple of days. It still works today as a testament to the quality of the Pentax Camera!

Good to have you here mate.
Now that's not an experiment to try on any of the dSLRs (if you even go down that way), but great story on the old film body.

Check out the forum's film section.
