Welcome! You have probably only skimmed the surface of useful information you can find on this website so be sure to take time and explore as much as you can. The Kr is a great camera and you will be amazed with the high ISO capabilities. Enjoy!

Scotland? COOL!

Do you wear a kilt, and freeball it?

I know I'm going to get into trouble for this, but I can't help it:

It's amazing how we're all able to communicate with and make friends with people from all over the world, and when it comes to Scotland, the kilt thing intrigues me.

Ira, you will be amazed to hear that i have not seen many people wearing kilt over here.
Who ever will wear at this time of year, not sure on the freeball but will surelly have a freezeball. its just been a month i am here in scotland.
planning to get some great snaps of the scotish highlands which is very diverse in its flora and fauna.
I am a complete novice as far as DSLR is converned so will try to explore as much as possible from the new kit and get some valuable tips from the SLR gurus here.

scotland born and bred - kilts only for weddings etc - tradition says breezy balls the way to go but very much a 2 camps thing but probably not wise in midgie infested areas

back on the topic though - congrats on new camera hope you have fun exploring the highlands with it
