Hi everyone! I got my new K-x for Christmas and have been thoroughly enjoying both using it and seeing its results.

Here are a few of my best so far:

I've been reading the forums for a couple of months and I look forward to learning more!

Welcome! And seriously:

Nice stuff there!!! I know we're gonna see some great stuff from you in the future!

And I just gave you your first reputation posts for posting those shots.

You obviously know what you're doing, or you learned it damn fast.

Nice job on the images and welcome to the form! I purchased a K-x not too long ago myself and am having a great time with it.

Thanks for the kind replies! :-)

As to K-x vs K-r vs K20D, I only know that the K-x is great so the K-r can only be better based on the reviews I've seen.

Welcome to the World of Pentax... It's very much like the Planet Earth only with a better optical record.

As others have stated, welcome to Pentax and the site. What they haven't stated is this is the best source for Pentax users - period! Look around and don't be shy about asking questions.

And watch out for LBA (Lens Buying Addiction)! Sooner or later, we all succumb to it.

Very true about being the best source and thanks for the welcome. And I can see how true the LBA could at some point become!

What's LBA?

That's an urban legend, and you probably think that alligators inhabit the New York sewer system.

No, I don't believe that, but I do like the idea of a good lens collection, Ira!
