Hello all -- Newbie ova here!

Hello all! Just wanted to drop by and say hi.
I just bought my first DSLR -- and my pick was a Pentax K-x.

I've been shooting for little while -- using film mostly.
Used a Canon Rebel and Yashica Electro Rangefinder.

Anyways, I was considering a Nikon for a long while but when I found out about the K-x I became much more interested in it. And so far it has not disappointed me.
I really can't wait until I get my hand on some nice primes and take this bad boy out.

'till then here are some practice shots with the kit lens and getting to know my new baby.

you've got a good camera with the k-x. I got a yash electro rangefinder too (2 of them actually) - and i don't neglect to use them once in a while... oh, and lomography film in the background? =)

I have 2 Yashica cameras as well. The other is a Super 8 video camera tho. I just got it so I havent gotten the chance to go out and film -- but its ok.. the K-x has been taking most of my time tho.

And good eye, indeed it is. I bought a bunch of rolls last year. They all need to be developed tho.
