Just like to say that I enjoy reading the forums and the assistance given, and am the owner of a K20d also Kx pentax's and an assortment of lenses.

Seems to be quite a few Australians carrying pentax cameras around!

there seems to be plenty of Pentax owners on the forum but I dont see to many out and about there is onl 1 other in the camera club I attend.

There are more Pentaxes around than you'd think - in company with another Pentax shooter of some repute, I walked around the Wooden Boat Festival in Hobart the other day, and was surprised at the number of Pentaxes on display (even a couple of 35mm film models!). Ours were the only K-5 we spotted though.

A lot of camera club types buy what they see in the shops, and reinforce each other's decisions by telling them what a good choice they made. I wouldn't take any notice - it's the photographer that counts most.
