Hi everyone

I'm a new member here in the forum.
I have been using and loving Pentax cameras since I bought my MZ-50 in 2002, then move to an *istDL, and then now I am using a K-7.
I hope I can get new friends and information by joining this forum.

G'day, mate. Welcome to the forum. There's lots of Aussies here, as you'll soon find out by the noise.
I've got a K7. Great camera, eh? I just screwed up my courage and did a firmware upgrade. Fortunately no hiccups, like some have experienced, but the brow was sweating a bit as I pressed the button.
Pull up a log, grab a snag and a beer and you're in.

Hi again,
Yes K-7 is great!! Compared to my old *istDL, it obviously has lots of features and capabilities.
I did the upgrade too and it took a while to get it done *actually I kinda stopped the process*.. But I don't think I want to do that again unless I have a very good reason (and moneeyy) to get a SDXC..
