Hello from WA

Hello from Vancouver, WA, USA.
I'm a recent Pentax convert. I used Mostly Nikon 35mm and Bronica Medium Format film cameras during the manual focus era. I slept through the autofocus and digital revolution and woke up in a completely different photographic world. Now I start learning all over.
My K5 is the first DSLR I've owned or used.

Hi NotaxPen. Don't worry, the basics is like bicycle riding, it will come back soon enough. The nice part is learning how to apply it with such a nice camera!. Enjoy the forums and all the good advice here

Hi, from Vancouver, BC. Just like you, the K-5 is my first DSLR, and I'm having a lot of fun trying to learn both it and a few old manual focus lenses.

welcome. pretty much everything you knew transfers, except the cost of film and processing
I still shoot with a Bronica sometimes. they are great cameras. And your K5 is phenomenal to say the least. once LBA sets in you are doomed though

Thanks for the welcome

Thanks for the responses. Despite my recent first post, I've been reading this forum for quite some time. I wondered what the heck everyone meant by LBA since I suffer from acronym overload. I think It must have something to do with all the lenses I keep buying. I'm going to have to start using more than one of them someday.
