Hello from Germany

Hey all,

I recently bought my first DSLR after watch the market a few weeks, it turned out real quick that it have to be a Pentax and so now I'm taking my Pictures with the K-r.

Bought it with the DA 35 2.4 as a Kit cause I like Primes and the price was just right.

Meanwhile I also got a M 50 f/1.7 and a nice Zoom I think, the M 75-150 f/4.

Very happy with Pentax at this stage and looking forward to more good ol' Lenses (my Budget is low).

Welcome! One of the things I love about Pentax is the decades of great glass that we can still use on our brand new bodies. I have the M 50 1.7 too and I think it renders some of the best IQ I have seen. Enjoy!

You did well to choose the K-r + DA 35.
Great combination, and just about as good as you'll get for optical quality.
