It's been a while since I posted on a forum, but I've just gotten into the photography field and it's been totally awesome!
I started with my cell phone camera and slowly moved up to a Canon S3 IS (which I still use as a backup camera. A very decent one too!). From the Canon, I started to look at a DSLR as I was going on vacation and figured a good camera would be able to take neat pictures.
Purchased a Pentax K100D because of Shake Reduction and the vibrant colors and sharpness of the pictures. Soon learned that a good camera can only do so much. The photographer also has to be good. So... I'm in the process of learning, and I find the Pentax to be a very worthwhile tool in this process.
