Hi everybody..

After going through a batch of Old 35mm and 645 Pentax gear i 'inherited' i came across a DA 40 mm F2.8 limited pancale lens, gave it a try and hey its great , i will combine it with a Kr as a lightweight inconspicous walkabout kit.
Whats the new 18-55 kit lens like ?

Welcome! A pancake DA40 on a Kr will almost fit in any pocket, it's very inconspicuous. I think the new 18-55 kit lens is optically the same as the previous 18-55 lenses which is pretty good. Be sure to take some time and explore as much of this website as you can, there is useful information all over it. Enjoy!

Well this is very cool. A pleasure to meet so many talented fellow Pentax users. I've been shooting with Pentax since I was 15, and have been true ever since. I currently own Pentax cameras in four formats, and love them all. Look forward to getting to know everyone.
