After going through a batch of Old 35mm and 645 Pentax gear i 'inherited' i came across a DA 40 mm F2.8 limited pancale lens, gave it a try and hey its great , i will combine it with a Kr as a lightweight inconspicous walkabout kit.
Whats the new 18-55 kit lens like ?

Welcome! A pancake DA40 on a Kr will almost fit in any pocket, it's very inconspicuous. I think the new 18-55 kit lens is optically the same as the previous 18-55 lenses which is pretty good.
