studio lighting

"Hi, I am a new member from st. louis, missouri. I am interested in learning studio strobes. I am wondering if anyone else shoots strobes with pentax?

I use continuous lights...,And there are some resources out there for lighting like: you are going to use flashes check out

Have you got equipment? cause you can build a decent setup with a pair of YN560 and a Phoshot flash trigger (for a pair of hundreds you get a decent setup, a lot cheaper than bowens, elinchrom or even other cheaper studio flashes).
If you are not going to freeze extreme movement it's easier to learn studio lightning with hot lights, you can buy a decent 2400 W setup for a pair of hundreds too, with 300 you can acquire the background cloth and it's stand too.
