So, I'm icywindow. Just starting with digital SLR photography. I like taking pictures of the sky, and was doing so with just point and shoots. Well, now I have a K-x and now I'm ready to dive in with both feet.

Anyways, looks like a cool place here.

welcome to the forums, lots of info to be found around here. If you can't find it with a search start a new thread and I'm certain people will be posting like white on rice.

Welcome! My first DSLR was a Kx also and after a year of using it the Kx still amazes me. This forum has been a big reason why I have learned so much over the past year. I hope it can do the same for you. Enjoy!

And for your skies, well, here's three skies I've captured in the last little bit. Pardon the lens dust on two of them.

make sure your taking the image URL that ends in .jpg when you post images, I must have reposted 5 times before seeing what was going on.
