HI,

Another new K-5 owner. Formerly owned a K100D. Well, actually not quite formerly until e-Bay does it's magic, but anyway I'm moving from the K100D to the K-5. Got the new K-5 last Thursday. I've taken a couple hundred pictures while trying to figure out all the new options. Spring hasn't quite arrived in Michigan yet, so even when I occaisionally got everything right the result was pretty drab. (We have a lot of color outside here now, but they are all shades of brown.

I'm really happy with the new camera though. Lives up to all of my high expectations.

Look forward to learning a lot from all of you.

Welcome! The K5 is a beast of a camera and will definitely not disappoint. It was the first day of spring and here in California Bay Area we had one of the worst storms we've had in years so I'm patiently waiting too. Enjoy!
