Another 'Hi' Thread, Among a Sea of 'Hi' Threads

Hey everyone!

I just bought a Pentax K-7 off a co-worker, second hand. It came with the 18-55mm kit lens, a Sigma 28-80mm Macro lens, and an AF-540FGZ flash. I already had a Sigma 17-70mm macro lens, and I've been quite happily shooting away at things for the last few days.

Have been a member of Pentax Forums for a while now, but strictly on lurker status, as I've been interested in getting the K-7 for some time!

Finally now, I have my dream camera. Never owned a DSLR, so I'm a little at a loss as to where to start with the thing! I've got a lot to learn, and I've been reading the manual like crazy.

Anyway, I'm not even sure if this collection of rambling paragraphs even have a point, but as a new member, I'd like to say hi! I'm one of the new guys, and I look forward to learning heaps from you more experienced photographers over my stay on the forums!

Welcome! The K7 is a great camera and makes a good pair with the 17-70. Be sure to take some time and explore as much if this website as you can, there is good info all over it. Enjoy!
