To the highlanders, do you have any tips for good photo spots for an Aussie visiting Scotland in July.

Aye there's many things to do and see, depends what floats your boat, just make sure that Whisky is involved somewhere.

Don't wory the whisky is certainly on the schedule, otherwise nature and historic perferably both at the same time. I would love to see and photgraph some puffins, but then misty vista's of lochs, and ragged sea cliffs also hold my interst. Note though we are not the fit days march type tourist but are willing to get of the beaten track.

For the best light its got to be the Wester Isles Lewis, Harris etc You simply cant take a bad picture there.
Anywhere on the West Coast again the light quality is superb Head for Ullapool then North or south from there.

Speyside where I live has many things on offer from the usual Huntin Fishin, Shootin, to Mountain biking Skiing ( In winter) Hiking Camping.

Come and visit where I Work at Glenfarclas and a few other distilleries.

The list is endless.

For picture taking its got to be the west coast and the outer hebrides
