Finally on the forum that really matters!

Hi there,

Hugh here, a keen Pentax user and fan for the past couple of years. Love not giving into the lure of the big two cameras marketers and instead supporting the comeback kid! But then again, I used to like Saabs too!

Originally Irish, have been living in Australia for the past decade and more recently in London. Have taken photos in both countries and on other travels too, particularly back home to Ireland. Mainly interested in Landscapes, Seascapes and Street photography but a bit of an all rounder.

Would love to start selling some work and pay for my photography investments!!

In terms of Pentax gear, I currently have Pentax K7 (am considering and tempted by the K5 of course), Pentax DA 50-135 f2.8 (a great love affair!), the fantastic Pentax 50mm f1.4 (pin sharp!), and the DA 18-55 (a good kit lens). Also use Pentax fitted Tamron 17-50 f2.8, and the reliable Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6..

Have also bought various Adaptall lenses and experimented with same - love using the old glass.

Really looking forward to finally getting stuck into this forum and to sharing some Pentax passion.
