"Bonjour" from France - TC Info for DA 300 f4 SDM

Bonjour, Salut, Hi,

Just joined the Forum and enjoying all the info, thank you one & all ...

I have seen a few posts, but I would like to have more info about using teleconverters (TC) with a Pentax DA 300 f4. I am considering this purchase, but hesitating due to TC issue ... any suggestions of what third-party brands are acceptable.

I live in Poitiers, France and would buy the DA 300 locally (see "Numipixel" French site), but there's zero TC selection here ... so will probably buy later the TC via Paris or a US site (any suggestions here).

As the French say, thanks in advance for any help.

One TC that work very nice with the DA*300mm f4 is the " Tamron-F 1.4X Pz-AF MC4 ".
The autofocus works very well.
The TC is not in production now. (You have to find one in the used market)
