Hello from Ct

Hello and I hope everyone is doing well. I am a K-x owner, but I am planning on getting out of the DSLR world and back into the point and shoot world. I've found that I just don't have the patience to learn the camera(although I have learned alot about photography recently) and I cannot afford the good lenses right now. Soo...I have my K-x up for sale and I have my eye on a particular point and shoot camera.

I have been lurking here for awhile and it's a great place with lots of really good info for the beginner.

Welcome! Maybe one day you will get back into the DSLR world because the Kx is truly a great camera and whoever you sell it to will be very pleased. Good luck and Enjoy!

Hi Taser,

I bought a K-x for myself for Xmas. I think that was a mistake.

I still can't do much of anything with it.

I have a Canon G9 which I love and perhaps that's just what I should stay with.

Good luck to you selling the K-x. Ebay?

Jo

Hi, the K-x is an incredibly capable camera that is actually easy to use. It's a shame you aren't having much success, can you be more specific? I noticed you had a post elsewhere where you said someone had told you to use manual mode, perhaps that poor advice is the problem?

Actually I was reading the book "Understanding Exposure, 3rd edition" page 16.

It seemed simple enough but I guess I should have kept reading as Bryan Peterson says on the next page that setting it that was is the last thing he wants us to do is to forever leave it that way without knowing more.......

I was hoping for a fast cure because the settings on my camera are obvious "way off."

Thanks.

Actually I'm selling it here on the forum and also have it advertised on Craigslist. I've had a few inquiries on Craigslist but I backed out and thought I'd keep it. I learn more about it everyday but, without the good lenses I'm afraid I'm just wasting my time.

I learned alot from watching videos on Youtube. You might try that sometime. There's some really good info on there. Good luck.
