I'm a proud owner of Pentax K5 and I really must say I love this Pentax Camera and also the lenses that provide. I currently have only one prime Pentax DA 55mm f/1.4, and 2 (Sigma and Tamron) lenses, while they are cheeper, though I'm looking forward to buy some true Pentax Lenses.

Welcome to the forum Larry. Nice starter kit. (nothing wrong with Sigma and Tamron, they both make some good lenses and fill holes Pentax doesn't)

Lots of ways for you to play with pentax glass without spending a bomb, just pick up some old MF lenses for next to nothing compared to some modern equivalents. Despite recent price rises in the used market they are still the best deal out there
