Hi folks, this is my first post on the site so forgive me if I prattle on a bit. I have been photography hobbyist for many years. My first camera was a Brownie, so that gives you some idea of just how many years. I quickly graduated to many other cameras until I settled on an Argus C-3 for quite a few years and after a few more cameras settled on a Pentax spotmatic. I used this camera for many years and acquired a number of lenses, flashes and other pieces of equipment that I still own. I then purchased an SF1 with a AF 400FTZ flash. I still have this camera along with the following Pentax SMC F lenses: 50mm 1.4, 28-80 zoom, 70-210 zoom. I loaned two lenses to a "friend" that I never got back, they were also Pentax SMC lenses and were 24mm 2.8 wide angle and a 30-70 zoom. I also have some of the Pentax point and soot cameras such as the zoom 105 super.

I abandoned my SLR photography for several Sony point and shoot digital cameras for convenience. I decided to get back into SLR photography and ordered a K-5 with the kit lens and hope to receive it this week.

One question that I have is whether I will have good results with any of the above lenses with the K-5. Any help on that front will be greatly appreciated.

I enjoyed the two lenses that got away and wonder if it is possible to replace them by buying them used and if so where is a good place to look. I suppose eBay is one source but I might be leery about quality.

I will be looking for a flash for this camera in the not too distant future so help on that subject would also be greatly appreciated.
