Hi there,

I've joined the forum as I'm seriously thinking about buying a Pentax DSLR. My first 'real' camera was a Pentax film SLR (way back when), and I've always had a soft spot for Pentax because of that. I loved my old spotmatic.

Anyhow, I've been through quite a few cameras in my lifetime...from Kodak Pocket instamatic to Leica rangefinder...but due to circumstances beyond my control am currently camera-less. Something I hope to change soon.

I would describe myself as an enthusiastic amateur.

Good to have you here, though be aware that we will most likely corrupt you to spend your money on the fine lenses and cameras Pentax have to offer....
