An Aussie who pines for England, I have spent (like many of you I suspect) much time sussing out my first DSLR. Next month I will purchase the K-r. Hope it's a good decision!

I can assure you the K-r is one of the best buys you can get for a dSLR. It's fast, full of useful features and well-built.
Melbourne's probably as close to London as you could get in the southern hemisphere, or is there more to your pining than that?
