Hello all,

I have had my K100D for about 6 months which marks my debut into SLR photography. So far a challenging, but fun learning curve. I am quickly learning about lenses and the costs therein. Wow! I will be traveling to Italy & Spain next May so I want to learning as much as possible until then to make the most of the trip.

I am glad to have found this forum for the advice and friendly banter and no, it does not rain here all the time.

Welcome to the forum, Nathan. My son, his wife and my grandson live just south of you in Tumwater. There are a lot of very knowledgable people on this forum.

We're further south of you along the Oregon coast. Stayed a night once in Tumwater on our way up to the Canadian border. Been through Tacoma many times since my wife's son works for Microsoft and of course lives in Seattle. I know... it doesn't rain there all the time but it does where we live. LOL
