New to Pentax and DSLR

Hello to all I am new to Pentax and to using a DSLR. I have come from using a bridge camera, the finepix s100fs and have now moved on to a great Pentax k-5. I will be checking out the forums and images here and finding out more about Pentax and DSLR cameras, thanks.

Thank you all.

I had a Finepix s100fs which is a bridge camera and a very good one I have to say. However, the Pentax k-5 is something else. I have only had it a couple of weeks now and I love it. I have a Samsung X-Denon 100mm macro lens which I use the most, so far.

I went for Pentax because of it's size and the built in anti shake. It is not much different in size to the s100fs. The k-5 also had very good reviews and rightly so too. I can't put the k-5 down.

I did read about Nikon and Canon but found a lot of people putting other brands down which, I found a little odd! A camera is a tool and it's up to the user to use it well.

I look forward to the information and images on this site and to better my photography.

Thank you again to all.
