First shot

Hi, as I am new to the forum (any forum that is) I'll take my first shot at the forum learning curve . I am a beginner - amature shooter, so here goes something!
My K-r needs a good quality card. Any suggestions for this newbie? thanKs

Hi and welcome. Most here use SanDisc cards, as they are usually the most reliable and the fastest. I have also had good luck with transend cards. They are less expensive but not quite as quick.

I am using a Kingston Class 10 32GB SDHC in my K-7, it's been a stellar performer so far. I have also had good luck with Sandisk, Lexar and Ridata.

Welcome here.
I too have been using the same SanDisk Extreme cards on my cameras for the past 5 years - never a hitch. Highly recommended.

Hi, and welcome Kenobi-rebel. I'll second the choice of a SanDisk Extreme, and look forward to some shots from the beautiful north coast.
