Hello from Upstate N.Y. New to the site. I joined beause I wanted to lean from others. I own a Pentax Z-7 I bought a number of years back and enjoyed the results it has given me. I want to make the jump to a Pentax digital SLR K-5.

I have a lenses I bought for the Z-7. Will I get good results if I buy the body, and use the Z-7 lenses? This way I can spend money on other special lenses

Thanks for any help.

Welcome! The quick answer is yes you will get good results but for a more detailed answer you should post your question in the proper section, try the K5 or general DSLR sections. First thing someone will ask is what specific lenses do you already have.
