Hey Everyone,

I am a college student making a transition from simple point and shoot digital and film cameras to my first DSLR. I recently bought a K-r and should get it in the mail by the weekend. I joined this site on the recommendation of a friend, who is also a member.

So that's my blurb, I plan on posting more once summer starts with school getting out and I start building up my experience with my new camera.

Welcome! Enjoy the K-r. IMHO it makes a perfect 1st DSLR! Your friend didn't steer you wrong, these forums are a wealth of information.
