Hi from Melbourne (in not so) sunny Australia

Just bought a new k-5 with 18-135mm. Moved over from Olympus mainly because I have an old 50mm 1.2 and 135 In the cupboard. Sold all my 4/3 gear and could afford the K-5 looking forward to using the DPReview Gold award camera.
Can't wait til it arrives on Monday!!!

G'day mate.
Can't go wrong with the combo you bought.
It'll impress you no doubt.
Enjoy the ride.

Hi! Welcome to Pentax. I switched to Pentax about 5 years ago, and have never looked back. They're just wonderful cameras.

I was in Melborne for a couple of weeks about 5 years ago. I really enjoyed my stay there.

I am not far in Heidelberg. MY camera still hasn't turn up. I hope today.

I am thinking of buying a 55-300 to go with it as well.

Just took a few shots with my 55-300 (can look on my sunset album if you want). It is a great lens for the price, and quite versatile. I like how it extends my 18-135 and manuals.

Thanks, Lovely shots. I spent two days in Vancouver last summer. A beautiful city reminded me very much of home. I think you have convinced me. Lens lust is such a terrible disability.
