New here - would like SMC a 50mm f1.4

New to PentaxForums, having just returned to the Pentax fold with a K200D a couple of years ago. Mainly due to some old lenses from my film (Pentax MG) days & the weatherproof seals on the 200D.

I'd really like an SMC-a 50mm f1.4 if anyone wants to part with theirs.

Got my SMC - A 50/1.4. Can't understand why anyone would part with it. Wonderful lens once the focussing screen changed to a split prism & got the correct shim (free from CR Kennedy in Melbourne by post or $2.50 each!?!? - Yes that's what I got told on the phone!)

The A50/1.4 is one of my favorite close-in Pentax portrait lenses.

Having said that, I would likely never part with mine so long as I'm shooting Pentax. Took me a bit of work to find a copy also(on eBay). And the only competition it has is with the Rokkor 58/1.2 which I also love.
