Hello from Washington State

I'm not extremely new to dslr stuff, started Sept. 2010, and my (white) Kx is my second Pentax, though, first dslr.
I've read postings from this forum once in a while but mostly have been on dpreview.com

Just over the big river from you (more or less) - welcome! I've breezed through the Pentax line for some reason, now on #4 (also k-x) after stints with k100d, k-7 and then k200d during a budget crisis.
Not sure yet about my lenses (and never will be!

) but this is a great camera.

Thanks for the welcome from a neighboring state. Just curious as to how you liked the K7 while you had it? I don't plan on getting it but like I said just curious...I'm in the process of searching for my next (future) purchase, specifically a lens.
