Hi from Down Under

Hello everyone, I just joined the Forum. I am sure I will enjoy it and learn a lot more about photography.
I like to take this first opportunity to ask for some help (I hope I am in the right section of the Forum). I need to buy an ME-60 focusing screen for my K-5. I read a bit about this screen and everyone seems to be quite happy about it. My question is: Is this screen mainly for manual focusing? Can it be used satisfactorily in AF as well?
Also, I tried to order one from Adorama but the shipping ($59.00) to Australia cost more than the screen ($49.00). Could this be right or am I doing something wrong?

Welcome to the forum Ben, glad to have you on board. It may pay to ask your question in the Pentax K-5 forum where I'm sure you'll get an answer.

You may be better off contacting the Pentax distributor in Australia, CR Kennedy. Their head office is here in Melbourne, but I'm pretty sure there will be an office in Perth as well.

Thank you guys... for your welcome ad advice regarding the ME-60.
I will put-up with the one I have for a while and replace it later. CRK in Perth have them for AU$120.00.

Unfortunately they can't sell below Pentax retailers prices!
