It feels like a hundred years ago when I abandoned my ME Super for a rugged compact 35mm camera to have with me on our walking-, hiking-, XC ski-, kayak- and cycling tours, mostly in Scandinavia.
Now I'm back to Pentax with my K-7 with WR properties that fit well in the rough cold Swedish climate. Few (semi?) professional cameras are specified for -10C use and some wind, rain or snow now and then.
My best friend is the SMC Pentax-DFA MACRO 1:2.8 100 mm WR lens, not at the last place as a moderate tele lens. Now I'm eager to catch the Aurora Borealis (northern light) but it takes some patience!
