Hi, just a wee hello...

Been lurking for ages!

Been with Pentax since my *ist DS days, still have it and still use it.

Had a K20D for 3 years now and loving it.

Would love a K5 but still a few probs out there with it, or is there?

Welcome! Don't let the K5 problems hold you back from getting it. It has problems just as any other camera from any other manufacturer would and warranty will take care of all. The K5 is a far superior camera to the K20 that I highly suggest going for it. Read reviews and examples of the K5 on here, that migh persuade you. Enjoy!

I would love to visit your corner of the world someday. We have some friends in Leeds and hope to visit them and sneak a visit to Scotland in while we are there. You have some excellent territory for photographers!

If you can afford a K-5... buy it. Wish I could. Until then I'm quite happy with my Stormtrooper K-x and acquiring manual focus lenses for it.

Would love the K5, saving, saving, saving at the moment.

If anything would love it for the high ISO. I've read loads about it on here and various other forums, all very impressed with it. There seems to be a wee problem with the flash system, esp bounce? Will keep an eye on it. Wait for the £'s to gather.

Have a had a wee go in B&H when I was across recently... mmm... lovely.

One day... hopefully soon.
