Well my Pentax K10d arrives tomorrow! I'm pretty new to still photgrahy but am well versed in video/film. Quite excited to see what my pentax K10d and photoshop can do

Congrats indeed!!! You should have a busy few days ahead of you getting to know your new gear. Trust me, it can do a TON. You have chosen wisely. Your PENTAX system IMO, is easy to learn as you can learn as you grow into it much easier than other brands. I found that the book "Understanding Exposure" helped me a lot when I was fresh with mine! Of course you might be ahead of me!
