Hi from Southern California, USA

Greetings from beautiful Riverside, California - about 45 minutes east of Disneyland and an hour east of the Pacific Ocean!

I was a 35mm amateur photographer (and a little bit of medium format) back in the 1980s. I was head photographer for my high school yearbook, and I really enjoyed it. After graduation, life kept me from spending time with this hobby.

A couple of years ago, I got my first DSLR - a Pentax K2000. I intended to reenter the hobby in this new digital age, but I still couldn't find the time until recently.

This past year my only child left for college, and I finally took the time to read the camera manual cover to cover. I am now looking for opportunities to learn more, and more importantly, to shoot more.
