Greetings from Brooklyn NY

Hi Pentax Fans,

I'm new to the forum, but not new to Pentax by any means. In fact, I'm probably one of the longer term users, having been a steady Pentax user since the 1970's. I started with a new ME and an M50/1.7 that my Dad got me. He also got one for himself and one for my sister, so we have been a Pentax family ever since then. I've progressed over the years through most of the top line Pentax SLR's, and that would include ME, MX, Super Program/Super A, the LX system, SF-1 (gave to Sis), SF-1N (to Dad, but came back to me since we lost him in 07), PZ-1, PZ-1p. I also have almost every gadget, flash and do-hickey Pentax ever made!

Lens wise, I'd probably have to take a full inventory, but it includes almost every A Series prime from A15/3.5 and A16/2.8FE to A*200/2.8, A*300/4, A*300/2.8 and A400/5.6 on the long end, Macro A50/2.8 and A100/2.8, numerous A series zooms, all the fast 50's of every series M, A, F, and FA, plus A50/1.2 and A*85/1.4. My F series includes F*300/4.5, F70-210, FA series includes FA*24-70/2.8, FA*80-200/2.8, FA31 and FA77 Ltds. plus a bunch of lesser FA zooms from PZ-1 days.

I (used to) do my own E-6 developing and shot tons of slides. BUT, since the digital age, I've kind of haven't been using my film SLRs, though I still own almost all of the ones listed. I presently have an *ist-D, a K-20, a K-7 and just got a K-5. Also had a K-10, but my sister has that one now. (Ain't it great to be my sibling!) DA lenses include 12-24, 10-17FE, 16-45, 18-55(WR) 50-200, 55-300, 18-250, DA*16-50 (my SDM problem child), DA*50-135 and I'm sure I missed a few! Anyway, I have posted on DP Review (Mike V99) for many years, figured I should post here too, so hi to all.

Mike V.
