Dear all
I am new to forum and not particularly savvy about technology.
I have a emachine to which I want to transfer my pictures from my Pentax Optio S4i but cannot seem to get the machine to recognise the camera via usb connector the emachine has windows XP. Some idiot guide advice is needed as my memory card is full and I am in holiday!
My emachine has no CD facility
My camera also freezes when I have taken a series of snaps one after another and only recovers after I have placed on charger.

You should probably post this in the main forums- but the best thing to do would be to install the camera drivers that came on its CD, or insert the CD when the computer asks for it.
