Hello from Austria (Ricoh -> Pentax switcher)

Good day everybody

well...what to say...I switched from a D700 to a Leica M8 to a Ricoh GXR and now I am here, having just ordered the K-5...

The D700 setup was to big and heavy to bring along so I tought going smaller was the way to go...in the end, GXR was a bit too small

Not really, it is a wonderful system, but I miss an optical viewfinder and good manual focus, so here I am!

I have a few photos online .... that will show up in my signature soon

but it includes a few random snaps also

Hobbies include road bike riding (currently a Thorn Audax and an old Albuch Kotter) and reenactment (I am a member of a 15th century reenactment group).

Welcome aboard. Though if you haven't heard, you actually just switched from Ricoh to Ricoh.
