Hi all

Hello Pentaxians. I just bought a k-7 so I could use my lenses from my old MX body film camera. I wanted something that would allow me to change lenses without buying new stuff. The SMC 40-80 2.8 snapped right on, but my Vivitar series 1 90-180 wouldn't go. I looked around on here and found robertechs write up on how to modify the lens and presto! Now I'm in business.

I can't believe how cheap the kit lens feels compared to the old film era lenses. They feel solid and substantial. The kit lens feels light and cheap.

Really looking forward to playing with this and experimenting. Thanks for the ste and the info.
