Greetings to all. I just bought a used *istDL camera body in a local used camera shop because I have a Pentax ZX-10 from 1998. Delightfully, my old lenses work flawlessly with the *istDL. This may be the best thing about Pentax, their willingness to support equipment for the long haul.

This is my first DSLR, and I know it's old and not up to the newest standards--but then again, that description fits me, as well.

I wouldn't worry about the *istDL being old. My K100D still holds its own against my newer cameras. I expect yours will too. Welcome to the forums.

I'm not worried. It works a treat. Good glass makes all the difference.

Thanks for the welcome!
