Pentax mz-5

This is my first time on the Pentax forum and hope I am in the right place. I am going to swap from film to D-SLR. I haven't used my Pentax SLR gear for a few years and have:

Pentax MZ-5
Pentax F-A 28-105 f4-5.6
Pentax M 200mm f4
Pentax M 28mm f2.8
Pentax Teleconverter x2

Would I be able to use any of this on a new Pentax D-SLR or do I have to grit my teeth and start again?

In case you are wondering I switched first to Pentax ME (which was stolen around 4 years ago) and then to a Canon.

Now I am ready for the big time and as I already have the lenses was wondering if they could be used?

Would appreciate any help in my decision. Thanks

Welcome! Those lenses will work just fine on a new Pentax body. There's good info all over this forum so be sure to explore. Enjoy!

Only thing on your list that doesn't work with a Pentax DSLR is the MZ-5

For the M lenses you will have to go into the camera menues and select something like "allow apperture ring", and then expose with Tv or M. The camera will give you focus confirmation even though these are manual focus lenses. The FA zoom will be 100% compatible.
