Hi from Perth, Western Australia!

Hey everyone, just wanted to give a shout out to everyone here. Following in the footsteps of the old man and switching from Canon to Pentax. Well, he actually went from Canon to Nikkormat, then kept that and acquired a Pentax too whilst on a 7 year around-the-world trip, but i'll save that story for another time! I've just offloaded all my 7D gear and can't wait to get into the Pentax K5 which i'll be ordering soon, so don't be surprised if there's a newbie thread somewhere else asking for directions! Hope I enjoy my stay here and learn alot along the way. I also own a Lumix GF1 with a 20mm pancake as everyday / travel camera combo which I adore. Cheers everyone!

The K-5 should impress you - but even more so... Pentax's lenses.
