hello world

i'm on my third pentax now and refuse to them. i'm glad that i found this forum...tons of great info and friendly folks. deciding to move from a voyeur / reader to a contributor...

currently shooting:
k-x (though planning to upgrade to a k-7 at some point (or should i go for a k-5?))
smc da* 50-135mm/2.8
smc da 25mm/2.8.
w-90 for waterproof shooting

A K-5 is a more refined camera than the K-7, particularly where it matters most (high and even low ISO performance). It's worth the upgrade, but not at the expense of getting better lenses (your kit lens could be stepped up if you use it often).
I don't believe there is a DA 25/2.8 - I suppose you mean the DA 35/2.8 limited macro.
