Hi from Down Under

New to the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I'm an American living in Australia and really getting back into photography after a long time away (like the film days). Started with a K10 and loved it. Took it on a safari with a 18-250 lens and loved the results (as long as the sun was out). Just upgraded to a K5 (wow, noticable difference) and will start investing in some faster lenses soon. I like all kinds of photography and right now am having a lot of fun with the Pentax 10-17 fisheye.
Cheers

Welcome aboard! Yeah, I started with the DA10-17 (the lens that drove me to Pentax) and the DA18-250 too, with my K20D. My other first lens was the FA50/1.4. Those three are hard to beat as a long-lasting kit. We'll do our best here to infect you with LBA. You are doomed. Have fun!

PS: How's the Vegemite?
