New Member, longtime user

Hey everyone! New to the forums, but I've been a longtime Pentax user, and my father was a pentax user since the 70s. Lately, I've been really interested in using my great stock of glass with the k5 and serious film making. (Waiting for full manual control...)

I do have a question....does the K5 provide a clean HDMI out? Wondering if MJpeg compression can be bypassed with Atomos Ninja through HDMI out without overlays and signal loss.

Thanks, and I'll see you in the forums!!!

Can't tell you about the HDMI, as I don't (yet) have a K-5. But welcome to the forums. What a great example of the value of K-mount continuity. You're going to love using those classic lenses.

Welcome. Baro-nite is right about using that classic glass. It's a ton of fun.
