Coming back to an old hobby

Hi to everybody!
After a long research period I decided to enter the Pentax world.
My first camera was an Olympus OM2N. Then I jumped to Canon system: Rebel first, and after that, an Elan.
After many years waiting for the prices to come down and the technology improves on DSLRs I´m finally back to this old hobby.
Pentax K5, 18-55 and 50-200 WRs. Unfortunately, my first impression wasn´t what I expected: please see my first post on the help subforum.

Welcome back to photography, and to our forums. Hope you get you 18-55 issue sorted out; as Marc suggests in the other thread, try cleaning the electrical contacts.
