Welcome aboard! Those are good cameras you have. What lenses do you use?

This is where I feel I am lacking.

SMC F 35-80mm f4-5.6 (doesn't like bright situation)
SMC A 35-75 F4 (my old contrasty lens but very old worn and peeling)
XR Rikenon 135mm f2.8 (loses contrast wide open)
DAL 18-55mm

SMC M 50mm f1.7 primary goto lens
DA 40mm 2.8 ltd. last line of defense.

Your 40 and 50 are very good, your 18-55 is OK (hopefully). Can your 35-75 be tightened and painted? Do you use hoods on your 35-80 and 135? Be careful; here, we offer all sorts of advice about lenses you should buy and sell. We are dangerous, especially to your budget. Have fun!

Hi RioRico,

Some nights I sit in front of the 35-75mm F4 with a screwdriver in my hand but still couldn't muster the courage since the lens still functions well except for the focus rings which is relatively loose. I'll think about repainting it then.

I use a single rubber collapsible hood which improves the flare resistance and still in the look out for fitting hoods (expensive)

He he, I would love to be directed on to what I am supposed to look out for (in other people's garage) lolz. Oh I think i've been infected with this LBA thingy.

The cheap sleepers might be labeled Sears, Vivitar, Lentar, Porst, Focal, Promaster, Yashica|Yashinon, Petri, Access, Chinon, Fujinon (but not X-Fujinon), Soligor, etc. Some might even be named Takumar!
